This seminar provides an insight of how companies can embrace e-business to establish business processes that link with their key business partners. The ability to exchange business documents electronically using computers is imperative in order to achieve process integration.

In this seminar, the speakers will present a business scenario to explain how a manufacturing company can integrate their purchasing process to their suppliers’ business processes easily using a Business-to-Business (B2B) gateway. It will show how suppliers can response quickly to changing demand of customers. The business scenario also explains how manufacturers, suppliers and logistics partners can work in an integrative manner.

SMEs, especially those in the lower levels of the supply chain hierarchy, are usually unable to fully participate in B2Bi collaborations as these typically require high levels of Information Technology know-how and hefty costs.
