With the dissolution of the National Infocomm Competency Centre(NICC), its shareholders have decided to transfer the certification programme, CWSP to the Singapore Computer Society (SCS) with effect from 28 Aug 2006.

 

The SCS has extensive experience with the management and administration of IT certification. As you are aware, SCS owns the Certified IT Project Manager (CITPM) certification programme. It has also recently launched a new certification, Certification in Outsourcing Management for IT (COMIT). We are confident that CWSP will benefit from the synergies and experience SCS has with certification ownership and management.

 

We are currently working with the SCS and NICC on the transition of the programme. In addition, to make the transition smooth, SCS will continue to appoint XMLOne User Group (XMLOne) to administer the examinations.
