XMLOne User Group Information Exchange Special Interest Group


SINGAPORE AUGUST - XMLOne User Group today announces the change of name of one of its Special Interest Group (SIG) from  Supply Chain Management (SCM) SIG to Information Exchange (IE) SIG. The purpose of this change is to enable the SIG to expand its scope and explore other applications for XML, which include but not limited to Supply Chain Management, Health Care, Business reporting and others.

The key role of IE SIG is to provide a forum for companies and individual to meet and discuss about technical issues and other related subject regarding XML and its application in the area of data exchange amongst company.

The SIG main role is to facilitate activities such as meeting, forum, seminars and match-make solutions providers to users. These activities aim at promoting and providing information that will assist members in embarking on their information exchange project.

XMLOne is a non-profit organization supported by the technology companies, government board, developers and professionals from the business Community. XMLOne is the official event organiser for XMLASIA.

Being the first XML User Group in the Asia Pacific region, it will help to facilitate the exchange of information, news, training, organize seminars and special interest groups. It will also encourage the various efforts underway to make use of XML as key interface language in general-purpose e-business.
