XMLOne User Group Singapore Announces XMLAsia 2005
 
12 January 2005 - Singapore - XMLOne User Group Singapore is pleased to announce that the XMLAsia 2005 event will be held at The Raffles City Convention on 1 - 2 June 2005.
 
XMLAsia is an annual conference and exhibition aimed at providing key decision makers and IT professionals with an independent view of the XML and Web Services landscape and technology trends. The theme for this year XMLAsia is "Web Services - The Competitive Edge for Your Business".
 
XMLAsia 2005 will feature in-depth and independent presentations, focusing on XML and Web Services technology standards and applications. XMLAsia 2005 will serve as the platform for IT professionals, developers, decision makers and academics to exchange information and ideas on technology trends and best practices. In addition, XMLAsia 2005 will feature a pre-conference workshop that engages participants through hands-on and/or 'live' coding and practical sessions.
 
"Web Services represents a revolution in the business model of E-commerce," said Kong Fook Wai, Chairman of XMLOne User Group Singapore. "XMLAsia 2005 will focus on core technologies that help explore new business opportunities and re-engineer existing systems for increased efficiency, scalability and resilience."
 
Inaugurated in 2001, XMLAsia is the annual flagship event of XMLOne User Group Singapore. XMLOne User Group Singapore was established to promote the adoption of XML and complimentary standards in business applications. XML, the next generation of HTML, is the industry's standard language that facilitates the interchange of structured data and information across different platforms.
