Mr. Kong Fook Wai
has more than 10 years of experience in training and education.
He has provided training consultancies to many companies
on e-business, acted as advisors to many e-business companies
and management experience in many local and multinational
companies in Singapore. His training consultancy work
includes Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP/MRP2), logistic
management among electronic manufacturers and IT technical
projects. His area of interests at the moment is on Business
Process Outsourcing.
Fook Wai is also a community volunteer. He helped to organise
and develop web pages for most community centres under
People's Association Youth Movement during 1999, started
the SCS Student Chapter in 1996, a member of the IT Standards
Committee and Chairperson to XMLone User Group promoting
use of XML technology in Singapore. He has won several
awards including Temasek Polytechnic Merit Scholarship
and the SAFSA Colours award. He graduated with a BSc (Hons)
in Computer Science with Business Studies and a MEd in
Education Studies.

Mr. Alex Siow
is currently the Senior Vice President of Business Markets
in StarHub Ltd.
Before joining StarHub, Mr Siow was Chief Information Officer of the Housing and Development Board.
Mr Siow’s other current portfolios include being Chairman of SiTF’s e-learning Chapter, Assistant Secretary General of the Asia ICT Confederation, Chairman of National Infocomm Competency Centre and President of Singapore Chapter of PMI. He was also conferred the IT Leader's Award for Person of the Year by the Singapore Computer Society in 2002.
A strong advocate of project management practices, Mr Siow initiated a programme
to certify IT project managers in Singapore, which was
launched in 1998 while he was the President of the Singapore
Computer Society.

Dr. Patrick Chan,
Ph.D., the OASIS Asia-Pacific Representative,
is currently based in Singapore and works to support and
expand the Consortium's activities across the Asia-Pacific
area through focused educational and business development
activities. He has over 15 years of academics and industry
consulting experience, serving in roles as diverse as
technical director, global architect, e-government specialist,
business development and alliances director, and research
scientist. He has worked for webMethods, TIBCO, Mentortech
and Institute of System Science. His doctoral research
involved decision fusion techniques, machine learning
and artificial neural networks algorithms, and intelligent
character imaging and recognition engines. His handwriting
industrial recognition engines have been deployed in Singapore
ministries.

Mr. David Hodge
has over 25 years experience in the IT industry. In his
current role as IT Architect supporting IBM's customers
in the ASEAN region, David's particular focus is in the
use of modern integration technologies to solve real life
problems. He has participated in major projects across
a number of Industry segments - Finance, Telecommunications
and Travel & transportation throughout the Asia Pacific
region.

Mr. John Phillips
has extensive experience gained through working in the
computer industry for over 16 years both in New Zealand
and Australia. Initially trained as a programmer and systems
analyst, John became involved with Novell products in
the early 1980’s whilst working in the distribution channel
as a support engineer and consultant.
After moving to Singapore in 1999, John was promoted
to Corporate Technology Strategist for Asia, working
as part of a global Corporate Strategy team. In this
Corporate regional role, John is working with a team
of Systems Engineers and other Corporate Business Strategists
on major corporate accounts across Asia Pacific.

In his current position
as General Manager Business Development - Asia Software
AG, Mr. Clive Tilbrook plays a key role
in developing and implementing the company’s business
and marketing strategies across Asia. He is also responsible
for positioning Software AG as a leading provider of system
software solutions in Enterprise Transaction Systems and
Business Integration.
Prior to taking on this position at Software AG, Clive
held management positions in Product Marketing, Marketing,
Channels and Sales. He was also Managing Director for
the company’s Singapore office. He has presented
at numerous industry seminars and conferences throughout
the region.

Mr. Daniel Ingitaraj
joined Microsoft Singapore in March 2004 as Director,
DPE. In this role, Daniel is responsible for strengthening
relationships with Singapore's software development community
and for growing awareness and adoption of the .NET platform
among local Enterprise Organisations, SI's and Independent
Software Vendors and Academia.
Before taking this role, Daniel Ingitaraj was a Senior
Marketing Manager at Microsoft India where he was instrumental
in growing the developer business with responsibility
of developing strategic relationships with large SI's
in India, helping large Enterprises understand and adopt
Microsoft.NET technologies and growing relationships
with ½ million developers in India. In eight
years with Microsoft India, Daniel Ingitaraj also managed
SQL Server & E-Business Servers product lines.
Daniel Ingitaraj started as a software developer. He
spent just over 4 years as a product manager, managing
Borland Software Development tools, prior to joining
Microsoft Corporation.

Prior to joining ISS, Mr.
Benjamin Gan worked with Antares, a joint venture
between Amdahl and EDS. His responsibilities included
operations planning which tracks and schedules development,
support and testing teams in Dallas, Toronto, Ireland
and Sydney. He reengineered the SDLC at Antares Dallas
to adopt the OO methodology.
At BreakThrough, he was involved in developing a multimedia
children's education software. In research, he developed
and formally defined an OO programming language. He
has also published research papers at international
conferences. At ISS, he is a member of the OO group
with teaching responsibilities in object and distributed
technologies.

Dr. Stéphane Bressan
is senior lecturer in the Computer Science department
of the School of Computing (SoC) of the National University
of Singapore (NUS) and adjunct associate professor at
Malaysia University of Science and Technology (MUST).
He joined NUS in 1998 and MUST in 2004. He is the coordinator
of the Electronic Commerce Laboratory at SoC.
From 1988 to 1994, he taught at various French higher learning institutions. In 1990, he joined the European Computer-industry Research Centre (ECRC) of Bull, ICL, and Siemens in Munich (Germany). From 1996 to 1998, he was research associate at the Sloan School of Management of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) working on the Intelligent Integration of Information.
Stéphane Bressan's research is in the area of the integration of heterogeneous
and distributed information. His work has been published
and presented in major international scientific conference
and journals. He is a member of ITSC XML working group
and an advisor to XMLone.

Ms. Tan Puay Siew
has a wide array of experience in implementing IT solutions
in many industry verticals, ranging from education to
construction to manufacturing. Her past experiences has
enabled her to gain critical knowledge in many technology
areas, including the newer technologies like XML and web
services. More recently, she has been helping local enterprises
to adopt and use web services as a strategic advantage
for their businesses, in particular enabling inter-enterprise
integration for B2Bi.
In her current capacity, she is responsible for the
technical direction and development of web services
related work in SIMTech. She also champions the work
of web services at the international arena as the Chair
of the Functional Elements Specification Sub-Committee
(FESC) under the OASIS Framework for Web Services Implementation
(FWSI) Technical Committee.

Mr. Derek Lam
joined BEA as Solution Manager, his current role sees
him working closely with BEA’s customers to define,
implement and consult on application, integration infrastructure
in the areas of: J2EE, Portal, BPM, B2B Collaboration
and Enterprise Application Integration.
Derek has more than 9 years of experience in the IT
field and specialises in solution architecting, designing
and implementing mission critical middleware solutions.
He is seen as a technical lead in solution architecting
complex application platform infrastructure for large
organisations in the Telecommunication and Financial
sector.
Derek holds a B. Science in Computer Science (Merit)
from the University of Singapore.

Mr. Norman Kee
has a Masters of Technology in Knowledge Engineering from
NUS. He is a CISSP, CISA, CISM and MCSA. Currently, he
is serving as an executive committee member of XMLone
and also in the Sensecurity Institute Board of Independent
Review. Previously, he was a founding member of ISSA Singapore
Chapter serving as the Education Director. He was the
invited special address speaker for National Web Security
2002 on the topic of Security challenges in Web Services.
And as a member of ISACA Singapore Chapter, he was the
distinguished speaker in CISA Review Class for 2003 and
2004.

Mr. Saket Saith is a
Solutions Architect with Sun Microsystems' Client
Solutions Organization in Singapore. As a member of the
Enterprise Web Services practice, he is responsible for
architecting and implementing enterprise-class solutions
for customers in South and South-East Asia based on J2EE
and XML standards.
Since joining Sun in the year 2000, Saket has worked
with a broad range of customers, spanning several
industry domains across the region, to deliver
integration solutions in both the B2B and EAI spaces. He
has followed ebXML since its inception and represents
Sun on the ebXML Asia Committee.
Prior to joining Sun, Saket was the lead architect for a
web-based EDI solution in the region. He holds a Masters
degree in Electrical Engineering from the National
University of Singapore and a B.Eng. from the University
of Delhi.

Mr. Chin Chee Kai
is currently a director of SoftML Pte Ltd, maker of data
integration engine XPS. Having worked in US, Japan and
Singapore, Chee Kai brings with him more than 10 years
of both government and private sector experience in the
IT industry. He chairs the XML Working Group in ITSC,
and also contributed to the UBL development in 2003 responsible
for generating the UBL 1.0-beta schemas. Chee Kai holds
a Highest-Honors double-major degree from University of
California at Berkeley, and a Masters of Science degree
from Stanford University.

Mr. William Tay
functions as a Senior Consultant Architect by day with
NCS Pte Ltd. Besides being a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional
(MVP) for Solutions Architect, he is a Microsoft Regional
Director. He is also a speaker of the INETA Speakers Bureau
and contributes a fair amount of his time to community
work in helping professionals in the software development
field.
He is a founding member and a XML Services Expert and
Moderator of one of the INETA charter member sites (Singapore
Professional DotNet Usergroup). He also sits on the panel
of Subject Matter Experts on Web Services of the National
Infocomm Competency Center of Singapore, together with
XMLOne Usergroup and Singapore IT Federation, to craft
out the Certified Web Services Professional (CWSP) Certificate.
His interests include areas of Object-Oriented Analysis
and Programming, Distributed Computing and adoption and
implementation of XML Services. He has done research,
development and implementation work in applying Web Services
in environments of Service-Orientation. You can read about

Mr. Andy Tan
is the founder of Intrinix Networks. Intrinix Networks
provides e-business application development services.
He has over 19 years of experience in software development.
Some of his successful projects include Sanyo Industries
and Sanyo Asia's Internet Procurement system.
Andy Tan is a member of ITSC-XML Working Group since
June 2000; this working group focuses on promoting XML
in Singapore. He is currently representing ITSC and
a founding member of OASIS Framework for Web Services
Implementation Technical Committee. He is also a member
of the Singapore Institutes of Management.
Andy Tan has presented several papers in seminars on
XML applications and Supply Chain Management conducted
by SIMTech, ITSC and PSB. He also writes for ITSC's
Synthesis Journal and Singapore Institutes of Management's
Today's Manager Magazine.
